Pedro G. never imagined he’d be in a wheelchair and have over 50 surgeries from violence at work. What an incredibly scary thing. Here is what happened.
Pedro was injured in a gun fight at work. After weeks of taunting and problems with another co-worker a fight ensued. Early in the morning, after several weeks of constant problems and nervous for his life. Pedro was again confronted by the hostile co-worker. Pedro fearing for his life took the first punch. The co-worker pulled a gun and shot Pedro six times. It was all caught on video.

However after she saw the video, she decided to drop Pedro as a client. Why? Because of the “first aggressor rule”. If you are the first aggressor in a workplace fight, you aren’t entitled to workers comp.
