On May 6, 2020 Gov. Gavin Newsom issued Order N-62-20 to ensure that 11 Categories of Essential Workers’ were protected with the benefits of California Workers’ Compensation During the Pandemic.  The Order created a rebuttable presumption stating that if an Essential Worker, from the 11 Categories, contracted Covid, it would be presumed that they contracted the disease through work.  Unfortunately, the insurance companies have continued their normal patterns, forcing each person to prove they received the disease through work.   There is a TIME LIMIT on the use of the Presumption of 90 Days. The Pocket Guide to California Workers’ Compensation is the Definitive Guide for any injured worker going up against the insurance companies for benefits.  Written by the lawyers from Pacific Workers’, The Lawyers for Injured Workers it helps anyone with a claim understand the complex system of California Workers’ Compensation Benefits.  You don’t need a law degree to understand this book.  It is written in plain English for anyone who is going through their fight against the Multi-Billion Dollar Insurance Industry.
